ClixSense – Jury is Still Out

29 Jul

Over to the right, you’ll see I have a new affiliate link, ClixSense. It’s a pay to click site. I paid $10 to become a premium member, and I’m waiting to see if I earn it (and more) back. As of today, I’ve earned $6.76. I just have it in my daily folder and do the clicks each day as part of my routine. Some of the stuff I clicked I even have wanted to check out further.

So – I can’t do a full review… I just don’t know yet. The jury’s still out. For now, I’ll just say, “we’ll see.” But one thing I can say is I’m not required to complete any offers. That’s something I’m not willing to do – blasting my credit card out there – keeping track of free trials and canceling before it’s up. That’s just to much for me to keep track of, and putting my info out there like that makes me uneasy. But, even if I’m not sure about ClixSense as a moneymaker yet, I can tell you that’s not the case with them, so I have no qualms about passing them on to you.

SwagBucks – I’m Liking It

29 Jul

OK… I added another affiliate. SwagBucks (you’ll find it in the right hand sidebar.)

I am really liking it. What it is – for those who don’t already know – is a search engine. They are powered by Google and Ask. When you search for something (just anything you might search for in your day to day life) you could potentially earn SwagBucks. It’s random. Although there’s other ways to earn, contests and stuff, on the site. You can then turn those bucks in for prizes. Entries into sweepstakes, or just flat out exchange. I currently have 45 bucks. I haven’t turned them in. Well that’s not true, I’ve entered a couple of sweeps but I’m saving my bucks for some other stuff.

The prizes are cool, and varied – and worthwhile. So I’m happy to be one of their affiliates.

In addition, they’re rather active in social media, which is a plus in my book. Not in a spammy way – contests and scavenger hunts, a blog, you name it.

If anything changes, though, I’ll let you know.
