Christmas is Over… Now what?

The long hiatus is over.  So what happened?  Ooohhhhh…  I had a spiritual priority shift, quit my job, came home, and then survived the holidays.  I’m back.

This year?  I had nothing to clean up.  And that made me sad.  This year, we traveled to the in-laws for Christmas, and so I didn’t decorate.

Normally, right about now I’d be cleaning up all the decorations – perhaps still putting some gifts in the “homes.”  Normally…  I’d take my time, cull old decorations…  and then get frustrated and cram everything somewhere, just to get it done.  I have no system.  That might be a problem.  I keep telling myself that I’ll get a system.  I’ll get organized.  This year I didn’t have to.  Maybe next year.

And so – I have no tips.  I have no way of telling you how to make the next year’s decorating easier.  I wish I did.  For example…  We may have been traveling, but I still wanted to take our stockings with us for everyone – except for the small detail that I couldn’t find them.  So – I ran out and bought four cheapies.  This may explain why we have four people (and two cats) in the family, and about 15 stockings in the Christmas boxes.
