I’m taking the time to write this.

I love my blog. I love having a blog. I love taking care of my blog. I read lots (and lots and lots) of blogs. But I just haven’t had time to update. Each minute that I update - something might be blowing up in my work life.

You see, we’re working on this one film that just might be the end of me. It’s making me not like my job, and I love my job. I’ve had to send several people from here to London. No big deal. But now I’ve got people coming into London from Armenia, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Mali, Dakar. Just to name a few. And me - little old, and only - me doing the travel.

It’s not going well.

People like to change their travel. A lot. ‘Cause they changed their minds. Or need body guards, as some of the places mentioned aren’t exactly the safest in the world. So you know what it’s like to tell a major studio - where the wheels grind slowly in bureacratic indulgence - that please give me cash. For what? Bribes. Uh - do you have backup for that?

So, this is the only reason I’m incommunicado. Work sucks. But I thought I better let people know that because I got some concerned emails. Yes, I’m okay - other than standard stress related issues - and it’s just that work is taking up all the brain wave activity I generate.

   I havent had as much time to blog as I’d want to lately, either. I think my readers feel the same way. I’m not abandoning blogging, but even bloggers need a holiday sometimes.:)
